Title: does anyone juice a bit?
Post by: Ashley Bank$ on April 12, 2017, 02:47:26 PM
i'm too lazy busy to do it myself so i usually pick up a carrot/spinach juice mess now every day
freshly made tho, not bottled mess.

not a big juicing fanatic but its cute lil mess.
i don't even know if i can say that i "juice". usually ppl who do that actually make the mess and enjoy the process. ssss not swipe a card. but mess.

gorls?

I do it when I'm in the mood to mess with the damn nutribullet. I usually buy the frozen pack with a variation of fruits n vegetables and just add fresh apple juice to make it drinkable. I'll also toss in the chia seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds.

And when I really feel edgy I'll toss a shot of vodka in there.

I have one of these and I LOVE it.

I prefer this because you actually get the full mess instead of just the juice.

Well if you MUST know :uhh:

1. Shopping for the produce -- I hate grocery shopping
2. Washing it
3. Actually doing the juicing
4. Cleaning up the mess and cleaning the juicer.

I watched a documentary on netflix called 'fat sick and nearly dead' and went out and bought the juicer that extracts the juice from the fruits/veggie instead of just blending everything up like the bullet does which isn't really the best since you're not getting the fiber

I really want to start making my own mess. But I also don't want some loud, big and bulky machine that's hard to clean.

hmm.

It's more of  a smoothie than juice, but it's all drinkable.

I use veggies along with frozen fruit & coconut water. The coconut water makes it more liquid so you can drink it down easier, and the frozen fruit makes it cold so you don't need ice.

It's a juice if you add ice or apple juice to it.

Just gotta use the bigger cup and go for 60 fruit / veg. 40% liquid juice

I don't have a juicer, but I use my Vitamix to do it. I blend my stuff up. Then I put it cheese cloth over a big bowl and pour the mixture in it. I squeeze the juice out. Then I pour the juice into my hand strainer to get out the pulp that may be left in it. It's time consuming, but I don't do it much.

Haha, yeah I know, but its cleaner. Very easy to clean up after. I will get a good juicer one day. I had a cheap juicer, and it burned out. So the Vitamix blender is great for now. I make smoothies, and banana nice cream in it. I have a NutriBullet also. I love it!

Yea, i honestly dont see the point of juicing.  I'd much rather eat the fruit too. I guess i don't really "juice", moreso smoothie. Its becoming my morning routine tho. I don't wanna have to make eggs or WHATEVER all the time, so it's my breakfast usually.  Some fruit, coconut water or skim milk, and  some  protein powder and ur good to go

Orange juice has too much sugar. Unless you are going to freshly squeeze it yourself.

True but a little bit won't hurt :justabit:

Honestly..apple juice just tastes better in these mixes. Especially if you're also adding things like kale and spinach.

Then apple juice it is. Initially I was always "to the book" when it came to these things. I would only would just use water :udontlookok: but I can't take the taste and I don't want a whole bunch of fruit stuffed in overpowering the veggies. I need a little satisfying flavor.

Yeah I hate water or ice ...unless I'm making a smoothie.

I really want to but I feel like it never turns out tasting the way I want it to. I think the texture is what bothers me
