QuoteLabels, labels, labels. From bankruptcy to storming Clive Davis?s office with guns & thugs, TLC have had more record label problems than we can count!
Thanks to the successful fan-funded Kickstarter campaign, TLC now answer to TLC! The girls have formed their OWN record label called 852 Musiq which means the only label bosses they?ll be answering to are themselves! (Fun fact: 852 spells out TLC on your phone dialer!)
In addition to forming their own label, TLC have forged partnerships with various major distribution companies. In the USA TLC?s music will be distributed by RED. Overseas the girls have signed with Liberation Music in Australia, Warner Music in Japan, and Cooking Vinyl in the UK and the rest of the world. You can read more about the labels below. #TLCISHere

Good for them.
Great way to go out, IMO, considering their label drama history.

That's still way too many different hands in the pot. They couldn't find one situation that distributed their mess WW? Then their CD is late if that single cover is the best he could come up with? :dead:
Way Back to bankruptcy. Not all these labels splitting the couple of dimes they'll make off this.
This track is nice
It would have been lame if they came with some song produced by mike will or dj mustard or something.

Being 80 years old trying to be young and desperate is lame.
Missy tried to go trap and flopped. Their too old to try to fit in with the young crowd.
So people really wanted tlc to sing about trapping in bandos and twerking :kii:
No. Be your old selves.
He sounds like an idiot for example

No the lyrics can be more age appropriate. The uninspired, thrown together mess that is "Way Back" ain't it. I'm honestly not here for a T-POZ strep throat vocal or a Silli coo in 2017 but I would support if the production is hot enough.
you dont have to hook up with DJ mustard to sound current or make a good song
this song just isn't very good IMO

LOL. At most of you STILL complaining. First you said they stole the money. However, they delivered a nice summer bop, hired a creative director, and Ron Fair, and are shooting TWO videos this week. That's a lot considering they only raised $400,000 for the album.
They are also doing really well in regards to radio airplay right now. :-)

The song is EPIC
I just dont see how they can stay true to themselves while still being "current"
Most of their stint was based on new jack swing, that has been dead for a while.
They can't really sing so their options are pretty limited.
u can always always incorporate ur signature sound into something current without doing some throwback mess. its very possible
they just dont have a great ear IMO
!!!
And that's what I meant. It doesn't have to a Metro Boomin mess
But if this ain't proof Lisa was the brains behind the operation...
They need Left Eye samples and mess
They need to resurrect sis and put out something halfway decent
Well they are doing something right, it's the #1 most added song on urban radio.

I love TLC... but "Game Proof" would have been a better single and that was Chilli's solo mess from 10 years ago.

I just checked that stat by the way. They are not the most added on urban. They are the most added on Urban AC with 20 adds. So 20 old ppl stations MAY play the song. 2nd most added is Sevyn's Before I Do.
As for Urban radio, 1 local station added the song.
