:guys:
I've always been selfish with my time, career, goals, and just life in general.
I've had emotional connections, of course... we all need them, IMO.
But I never thought of myself as "settling down". My goals always took priority.
But I think the key was finding someone who understood my path, and who could be a partner in that journey... and I could be a partner in theirs.
Has anyone else found themselves in love with someone? And willing to create a life that includes that love?
For me, I refused to let myself to fall easy so I kept trying to not accept it. I knew I loved him and I even said it at one point but I ABSOLUTELY knew when I went away for a week and that was the first time I had been away from him.. he was calling me all the time and I was answering EVERY SINGLE CALL because I could not wait to get back to him.. I was over the trip. I wanted to go home so bad.
