As everyone know I was born, raised and now I'm living as an adult in Mississippi. I used to always say that I'll never leave, but it's like the older i get, I have more of a desire to leave here. As much as I love my home, I feel l've outgrown this place. I never thought I'd say that :'(
Outgrowing a place is a testament to your growth, it's definitely a good thing!

I always said that I would go back to college and finish my degree and leave, but I feel like I should leave before that :dead: But it's hard for me because I don't want to be leave my friends and family, especially my youngest brother. That's my heart.
But I know it would probably be good for ME if I did leave.

yeah that's a good idea for someone in D.C., chicago or la
But to move from the country to that expensive ass place sheesh
Scotty would be back home before the month ends
Like anyone from the Deep South
don't come to NYC unless you want roomates and you got coin
A lot of people in my new job have to migrate to the city from the south before July 2 and all these motherfuckers are shacking up in groups of four and struggling to find mess and a part time job.
im tryna move somewhere down near miss'soon nnn
Do it Scotty
It would be nice for you to finish school or vocational training, then branch off.
You'd have more leverage.
But I'd def recommend you moving on.
Aw that's normal. Maybe you just need a break/vacation of some kind first
See how reenergized you feel, cuz sometimes a permanent change of scenery isn't needed. BUT if you make that move and start fresh, that's great too.
Maybe stay down south but just move outta ur area so it isn't TOO drastic of a change, unless you feel that's what you need.
Jameesha, if you got to go, you got to go!
I really want to move back to vermont it was nice and peacefull
Mississippi?
:ummwhat:

Yeah I still wanna be in the south for real. But I think I'm outgrowing Mississippi
I'm jk tho, is it a small town where everyone knows everyone?

EVERYONE knows everyone.
1 high school, 3 middle schools and 3 elementary schools
Uhhh, that's so scary to me but don't you think you'll get homesick since you're from such a small environment? And would you want to go somewhere where you already know someone or would you go completely alone?

That's partly why I'm undecided because I know I'll miss it tremendously.
I have friends that live in Houston and Dallas. My cousin recently left Mississippi and moved to Atlanta. So the places I'm thinking of, I won't be alone

Uh no. My mother just started back working about 3 weeks ago after 11 months of being unemployed due to her injury, so I was taking care of her and my brother financially.
I wanna save up and do that. I can't afford to just up and leave right now when I'm just now starting back focusing on me.
