So, this girl is 80% West African,, as in, approaching PURITY. Top result being Mali.
She took the test because many people wouldn't just let her be Black.
When anyone asked, and she told someone she was African American, they'd follow it up with, "Yeah, but what are you mixed with?"
So out of an understandably growing curiosity of her own, she took the test.
Here are some of the comments people had before they viewed:

So, she posts her video to shut it all down and get it done with:

And now, the narrative switches to comments like:

I feel this deserves a topic because it's time to start addressing the misconceptions about Africa and Black people in general.
We are diverse, we come from the most diverse place on the planet.
Start looking to countries in Africa if you really want to figure us out. Not in Europe or anywhere else.
Unless we are directly mixed.
If we tell you we're Black, respect that and leave it alone . Unless you're trying to figure out which country in Africa we are from. Because chances are if we don't know of anything else in our family immediately, we're NOT really anything else but Black.
She looks Fulani to me
Straight hair especially for African Americans is a KNOWN Euro/native feature. Idk what is so wrong about it. Whites with nappy/kinky hair will be connected to blackness too.
Fulanis are darker
"thinkin u gotta lil dominican in ya!"

Most of them are the same shade as her
My uncles look almost Arab but my dad is the same complexion as and myself brothers, Fulani's are nomadic so they've mixed with whatever tribe they come into contact with

Why do they seem excited that she could've possibly been mixed

ffff !!!!!!
yesss dominican! :uhh:
She doesn't even look like someone with strong european genes
People are really weird. I also don't understand the hair thing and what constitutes as good hair. Her hair isn't straight. Tbh to me it looks done up, curled, looks like she greases her scalp real good, her edges are laid. This does not automatically mean she is mixed though. :plzstop: It just kinda shows what people think blackness REALLY is. Apparently it's having no edges, having coarse, kinky hair, and being very, very dark skinned. :sevynstreeter:
