Black people are hurting themselves. They're going to erase actual black and dark skinned women in the media. And you'll only realize till it's too late. You can't call them Afro Latina if half of them can't even grow an Afro!
:omgwatshappening:
Does Christina even claim Afro-Latina?

That person is actually doing more damage to the community than the people that they're addressing.
Treating an Afro as if it is some sort of go-to proof of Blackness ignores the fact that we are highly diverse.

I've never heard her do it.
But then again I never heard Joseline say she was "Black" until someone took time to dig up receipts and show me.
I'm glad they're talking about this, though.
DJVlad was legit asking Cardi why she uses the "n" word. I was like :butim16robert:
If you're not from NYC you just will NOT understand the way we roll here. :feelinmyself:
NYC! DKDKDKDK GIR
that aint just there. and aint VLAD from NYC himself :udontlookok:
This is what I was tryna tell ppl on here.
Black is a culture anyway, not a colour bbys
I'm pretty sure all these women identify as black :dead:

There's this guy at work who's says he's Latino
But he's darker than me, his hair is kinkier and mine and his features are typically African
He does come from Brazil but he perms his hair he acts like you can't be black AND Brazilian
I just live and let live these days
So because I'm German and Naomi is British, we are not black?!
:damselindistress:
WHy they didn't add any of the dark skin Latina Kwee's? :uhh:

Okay Afro posted false info. La La made it clear she's not non-black.

Brazilians usually are really aware of color and stuff. It is surprising he'd not acknowledge that.

Lala's from here, though.
LaLa Says It Loud And Proud: ?I?m Puerto Rican Dammit? Get It Right!!!?
QuoteIt is obvious that LaLa is tired of people mistaking her for being black or even mixed, so she decided to write an essay on it:

But claiming PR just explains her nationality not her ethnicity so what is she even trying to say here? :uhh:
ITS just funny that the same person doing all the ancestry mess and makes sigs celebrating all of ha alleged heritage wants to strip other people of theirs. :raycharles2urmess:

Yeah it's kind of a pointless statement. And herb highlighted a misleading part.
I wonder how Americans feel about blacks from Arab countries like Sudan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia...
Their minds seem to overwhelmed with just a quantum of intersectionality.

You're dumb as hell.
I'm in here doing the opposite - caping for ACCEPTING people's heritage and the way they identify. :plzstop:
No you don't. You just load the gun to shoot them with it and you do it in every time. Can't believe you're from NY and so damn ignorant.
I grew up in a city that is just as much a melting pot as NY is and I have never had any of these who's black and who's not discussion. You want to claim native and black and don't want anyone else to get that + in.
Y'all are killing me :kii:

As much as I don't like her, it has to be annoying when the industry you work in denies part of your identity.
Black is specifically a term coined for african americans and their history here
Anything else
Its british and whatevs
But no not black
I see Joseline perched. I'm sure there's some fumes somewhere in this thread. :feelinmyself:
