I don't think she'll ever release another uptempo first single, or uptempo single period. They thought Hit the Freeway and Please would have similar effects to HWME and both singles flopped for filth, jeopardizing the entire albums and her career. At 50 years old I think her best bet is just to release AC singles like this.
She definitely should've come with a stronger/bigger feeling song though. this feels like the end of an era type of song
