The 45th annual American Music Awards will air next month, giving fans a voice by letting them vote for their favorite artists of 2017.
Show host and R&B star Ciara will announce the nominations for six categories on Good Morning America on Thursday, Oct. 12, starting at 8:30 a.m. EST. The American Music Awards and Billboard will then announce the nominees via Facebook Live, starting at 9:50 a.m. EST.
Fans will be able to cast their votes for their favorite artists in every category on Billboard.com. Voting opens at 10:30 a.m. EST.
The 2017 American Music Awards will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

A lot of artists like Ciara work their asses off and sometimes the outcome is a little less than what may be expected, but doesn't take away the fact she's put in time and effort. The same can be said for Brandy. A lot of us are upset with her, but I'm 99% sure that if it was up to Brandy she'd release something by now, but I'm sure she's negotiating contracts/deals POST all of that label drama which takes more time than we actually know.
