California Baptist University student Savannah Sugg filmed her friend and classmate Haley Perea throwing her drink at the two men while saying, ?This is for the national anthem, you pieces of shit.?

?Take a kneel for the land of the slaves. Disrespect our flag and our country and this is how we?ll respond,? Sugg said to the two men they targeted at the preseason game in Ontario, CA, Matthew Brady, 20, and Jiahn Talebi, 21.

It gets worse. The Tab has identified more than a dozen times Perea used the n-word on her now-deleted social media accounts. Both students were also photographed at a racist party dressed as caricatures of urban black people.

The incident caused an uproar on Twitter, as many called for the university to remove the Sugg and Perea and for the restaurant where Sugg works to terminate her employment.

?California Baptist University does not support or condone such behavior,? Cal Baptist?s Dean of Students Anthony Lammons said to The Tab. ?Based on the video, the incident did not take place on our campus. Nonetheless, CBU takes such behavior very seriously; we will investigate, and take appropriate action.?

Brady and Talebi were kneeling in solidarity with black athletes in the NFL and in other professional sports leagues who have been protesting social inequality and police brutality towards people of color. The movement stems from two former San Francisco 49ers teammates, Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid, who were the first to take a knee during the anthem. President Trump has since called for NFL players who kneel during the anthem to be fired.

Close friends of Brady and Talebi said they are considering pressing charges against the two women. The men, who have retained lawyers, also said that when they tried to chase after the women to make sure they were caught by police, a white man put his hands on one of them to stop them and said, ?you better have some respect, boy.?

Brady and Talebi were then told by police investigating the matter to leave or face arrest.
