Rhona just doesn?t fit sonically.

En Vogue ain?t EV without Maxine?s vocals. That?s why they haven?t had a good album since masterpiece theatre

I like this... I appreciate that they aren't trying to make it something they aren't or "young".... they sound great imo

U didn't even have to say who it was produced by cause it SCREAMS Raphael. This ain't bad tho.  These girls are kinda SINGING! Rhona is KILLING

Rhona meh. She just doesn't fit for EV. They're capable of better.

I agree. Rhona should be with like a REAL R&B group. She has a more soulful sound. These girl's sound is SO whitewashed

EV whitewashed  :dead: I've never heard of such

They sound like white women and their music is corny.
The Envogue sound died when Dawn left. They can sing but they are the definition of MEH! Like, forreal Rhona deserves better tbh. I guess she's happy with this cause she never REALLY popped off but her voice is too good for Envouge tbh

I think it sounds good guys! Rhona sang down and I think she fits in...

They could do without Dawn tbh just bring back Max. She was more of their Motown sound/voice tbh. Only member I'd say is whitewashed is Cindy. She has admitted to not actually growing up with R&B/Soul music. Rhona always been meh for me.

I think it sounds good because I like Raphael and I like Rhona but the original members of Envouge are MEH! I liked all of Envouge but the sound of Envouge left with those other 2 girls. They were like literally the most prominent voices in the group. They had 2 Envouge groups at one point and those girls could've really did sumn cause they were the voices that made all the songs POP. Terry and Cindy can sing but these annoying ass voices won't do for an ALL THE TIME kinda thing, nah. Rhona>>>>>>>>

Rhona?s album was the fuck terrible. How you catch a brick with Rodney at the height of his production career  :plzstop:

Dawn and Maxine are the soulful ones, Maxine carried the torch just fine after dawn left.

I agree about Rhona, terrible music.  But Maxine didn't hold it down just fine imo. Dawn was THE voice of Envogue and Maxine was the 2nd. So without Dawn, it was an element missing. Maxine doesn't have what it takes to bring the song all the way home like Dawn. I moved my ass right along with Dawn to Lucy Pearl.

Ev3 (which still had some of dawns vocals) and Masterpiece Theater were good albums.

And that?s an unfair comparison

The superstar combo of dawn, Raphael and Ali is unmatched

None of the singles reflected that and I was completely uninterested

Yeah that's Cindy on lead. She aged so gracefully. Mama is the epitome of eternal youth almost pushing 60.
