Title: Can an artist release old music that was previously released but not as a single
Post by: Hatsumomo on December 18, 2017, 08:13:39 AM
I was just thinking that Brandy could literally be blindfolded and pick 3 of her unreleased songs that we've heard over the years and that it would do well with the right video. Can an artist release old songs ? Has it ever happened before and how does it work?  :butim16robert:

If they own the rights to song, then it shouldn't be a no issue. Problem is, if it was unreleased the artist probably doesn't have any publishing for it.
