Title: Aaliyah dancers tribute her with a bday dance class
Post by: Admin on January 17, 2018, 07:09:34 AM
That's Nadine Ellis and Carmit Bachar (PCD). They were both in the Rock The Boat video.

Is this the full original Try Again choreo? Cause I'm not 100% sure. Some of it looked different.

YES that's the full choreo and I'm spazzing because I always wanted to see it uncut. Who the fuck edited the video and cut out some of this shit!? I pieced it together myself using live performances and the "making of" youtube video but yess. Like when I always go off about the dances literally illustrating "trying again" and the fact that they swirled to the ground the stood back after a drink of Gatorade mess lol. I want to know who taught them this because Fatima choreographed but I'm sure she didn't instruct. The rest of the dance is amaze

Ahh, that's why some parts look "new" to me. The video cut never really bothered me, but seeing the full now makes me question why they left so much out.

Actually, I understand and the editors challenge. On one hand you have this choreo, on the other you have this mug. Which one pick one.

And this mirror effect was really cool
Jet li actually did his moves in a music video, so much better than just showing clips of a movie. It would be nice to see more video material...and make alternative versions for it...but maybe there is not much Aaliyah material they want to release anymore.
