Fifth Ward; In Houston?s historically black neighborhood known as the 5th WARD, an argument at the local convenience store leaves a young girl dead. Helping her keep it together is police captain Robert Kennedy. He has left 5th Ward behind and is making his way up the ranks of the police force.  Her acting is decent but hate the lighting and the show is all over the place.  :dead: One of her sons looks older than her.

I haven't watched yet. Just saw a few clips. The show is in the vein of The Wire with different storylines.
