The original movie starred Eddie Murphy, Grace Jones and Halle Berry and told the tale of a wealthy man who finds his world flipped upside down when he falls for a woman (Robin Givens) who gives him a taste of his romantic medicine.
BET?s version of the story will take place almost thirty years later and see Murphy?s character revamped and transformed into a millennial male forced to juggle life, love, office and gender politics as he seeks love in all of the wrong places.
The company is yet to assemble the production team it will use to build the 10-part season.
