Hey guys,
For those that knew, I was a writer trying to find my way in the industry. Some months ago I was fortunate to have signed a two-book deal with a major publisher in New York. My book, IF YOU SEE ME, DON'T SAY HI, will be published on July 10th of this year. It's a collection of short stories about being brown in modern America. I write about the experience of first-generation Indian Americans, as well as sexuality, race, and class. You might like it. Hopefully you do.
For more info, you can follow me on Instagram: @hewritez
The book has given me an opportunity to link up with WME in L.A. for Television, so currently trying to staff on a show, or develop my own.
Just wanted to say: never give up on your dreams. I can say that, after ten years of struggling, I finally see the light. Hopefully you all will as well. Make vision boards. Journal. Do it all. Peace.

Wow, book!
Congratulations.
congratulations! I'll pick up a copy when it's released
Congratulations, I am interested to read this. I have never been friends with any Indian Americans but dealing with them in business have always been very challenging. I should write a book about doing business with Indian Americans in Modern America, they want everything, but dont want to pay for it. I would love to see if you talk about this in your book.

Yes! If they are telling their stories, I think should talk about their parents influence into how they do business in comparison to what is "normal" in American Culture. I've just notice that it seems to be a big part of their culture to haggle and negotiate business to beyond the scope of what is "normal" in American culture. I hope this is something that the book touches on.
Congratulations this is dope.
