?Dirty Computer: An Emotion Picture By Janelle Monae? is billed as ?a visually stunning Emotion Picture with a vibrant narrative featuring celebratory music videos.?
It follows young woman named Jane 57821 (Monae), who is living in a near-future society where people are referred to as ?computers.? ?Thor? and ?Selma? star Tessa Thompson joins the singer in the production.
Thematically, the film explores humanity and what truly happens to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness when mind and machines merge, and when the government chooses fear over freedom.
In an unprecedented move, the album movie will air exclusively throughout the day of April 26th on MTV and BET stations worldwide including MTV, MTV2, MTV Live, mtvU, BET, BET Jams, BET Soul and BET.
