Title: Black Panther question
Post by: GRAND ETERNAL SUPREME on May 09, 2018, 07:28:03 AM
So T'Challa moved back home when his dad dies

Does that mean his old ass dad was the black panther all that time?  :diddraispoot:

Dnjfnnfnfnfngnngg i guess the power behind that suit and purple potion mess was enough to sustain him

He didn't move back home. Where did you get that from and yes he was the previous BP. The mantle can get passed on to the following king and or the kings guard. In the comics T'challe at one point were the mantle but he wasn't king of Wankanda yet.

No when he came home to 'claim the throne' the way it was worded made me think he moved to America then moved back but I guess he just travels a lot :kii:

I think there was period where they didn't need to pull out the suit

I was only confused at him being black panther immediately
Like when the film begins and he saves the girls and nakia
Like he?s fully suited up
And then his ritual follows that was weird

yea they screwed this up BIG time trying to rush him into Cap Civil War

S'yan, the younger brother and his uncle, was black panther inbetween T'Chaka death and T'Challa's rite of passage

in the movie they switched the name and killed him off

they did it so smooth and everybody was so hype that nobody even asked
... ummm..... why is he doing the ritual again? he's already black panther
:diddraispoot:

:diddraispoot:
well Shuri made the Black Panther suits. You didn?t have to be the king and do the ritual necessarily to be the Panther
even when Killmonger becomes king, T?Challa still has a suit of his own and they fight each other in their suits
Also we see in Civil War where Tchalla takes the ring from his father after he?s killed and the ring contains the suit, that?s why he was Panther before the ritual
