hey children, i've been trying to go a bit more natural as of recently and need a few tips.
so i replaced my heavily perfumed grocery store beard oil with pure argan oil, which has been working great!
now looking for: facial moisturizing creme that doesnt contain unnecessary shit like perfume etc. Ideally for oily skin, so maybe something that has a matting/ tarnishing effect.
also what should i wash my face/ hair with? I just buy this stuff from the grocery store and i feel like it just irritates my skin with all the perfume and shit...
post some amazon links etc. please.
thanks

unless u have some sort of skin issue that calls for extra treatment/products i'd say keep it simple.
dont put too much thought into it.
the soap is there to cleanse and the lotions are there to moisturize. period. clean + add ur lotion.
doesn't have to be a whole routine downe
dropping all the fragrance laden teas is a good start.
thnx luv you have amazing skin. lemme see what stuff i can find that doesnt have perfume in it.

Y'all always say this like regular generic soaps aren't loaded with all types of chemicals and mess. Women can't even use soap on their vaginas.
Everybody's skin is different. :diddraispoot:

!!!!!
People really do underestimate how affective sleep is when it comes to having good skin.
Same goes for the mess you eat.
I'm so ready for this weekend so I can SLEEP the whole time. I'm excited.
And before you go out spending coin on unnecessary skincare products make sure you have everything in order at home.
Changing pillowcases regularly
Sheets
Towels/Rags
Make sure clothes are clean
People don't realize how fast dirt and oil perches on your mess. And that will definitely fck up your skin.

yeah irish spring, etc. just smells like its loaded with a bunch of mess.
i'd say look for a nice simple soap with simple ingredients
natural black soap is my go to.
Yh if I can't pronounce it then it isn't going on my mug.

I'm currently on the hunt for a good moisturizer. I had a sample pot of It Cosmetics Confidence in a cream which was amazing but a full size jar of that mess is $50 so I'm looking for a good dupe.

For cleansers I love Glossier's Milk and Jelly cleanser. Its extremely gentle on the skin to the point where you can open your eyes with it still on your face and not find it irritating, plus it leaves the skin soft rather than dried out. Problem is you can only buy it from their online store and its $18. Target has a dupe for $10 which I'll probably switch to out of convenience, but the Glossier one is better not gonna lie.. I also like the Aveeno Positively Radiant cleanser and that one is around $6.
(this is the target dupe)

After breaking out from lack of sleep/poor diet I bought the heavily raved about Paula's Choice 2% BHA. Its pretty pricy ($30) but I noticed my pimple was shrunk down in a couple days and the discoloration around the area has lightened up a bit too. I hear that Stridex in the red container is a good dupe but you would actually be spending more if you break it down cost per oz.

As for sunscreen I would try my hardest to find a physical one rather than a chemical one. The chemicals used in U.S. sunscreens are extremely outdated and can be very irritating to the skin. Plus they aren't as effective. The problem with physical sunscreen is that you have to deal with that white cast, but there are a couple that go on relatively clear. If you can't find one that works you can try out Asian sunscreens. They use the top chemical sun blockers on the market and they have a cosmetic elegance that western sunscreens lack. I would have stuck with them but I'm paranoid about alcohol in skincare and they tend to use a lot so I'm back to physical sunscreens.
This is good as far as being easy to blend and not leaving you ashy. You just spray it on your hand and rub it into your face. It goes on oily but in 10 minutes your face is matte. Its $30 tho...

A gentle cleanser, sunscreen and a moisturizer
And mask occasionally :omgwatshappening: it doesn?t have to be complicated because it comes down to genetics anyway. My friend eats like shit but has some of the prettiest skin ever. Like ACK.

do you take skincare supplements?
You should research some
Collagen is very good to take.
There?s all kinds of good skincare vitamins
Your skincare regimen should be simple. Something easy to purchase from the drugstore
I don't take any supplements, but I am open to looking some up. Also I wanna start taking those fishoil pills, although I'm not sure if they are beneficial for the skin.

I will say this though... Anyone interested in improving their skin without using a lot of products Keto/ intermittent fasting.intermittent fasting helps with cell regeneration through atophagy.

It's mostly genetics, proper grooming and diet.
The only thing that would help beard growth is Biotin, but you'd be growing hair everywhere, not just o your face.
