?I?m gonna take it way back. I only said The Who because I think The Who was my first [introduction] to guitar music. But I also remember asking my mom to buy the Amerie album ? the first Amerie album. That?s a throwback.?
?I think that was my very, very, very first CD. I was like, ?Yeah, I want the Amerie CD? because I had the biggest crush on her ? and still do, she still looks amazing.?
?I?m getting, like, flashbacks, seeing the cover. I haven?t even listened to it in a while. ?Why Don?t We Fall in Love,? that was my favorite song, and I remember the video and everything. I don?t remember any of the details, I?ve got to get back into it. And look, there?s a track on there called ?Float,? and I have a track called ?Float? on Revelations. That?s so funny ? I?m probably going to listen to this all day today.?

The issue with Queen is that she is only as good as her producers, if she isn't working with Rich or The Buchanans, it's either.... ok or pretty damn bad :dead:
She needs someone on her creativity level, she has so many idea's and concepts put her execution is average.

Agreed. I was looking foward to all her new musical projects especially Cymatika trilogy. Hopefully she'll be back soon after her baby is born.

Her debut is a classic. You can play it from start to finish without skipping a track. :stressed:
Her other albums can?t compare but there have been gems along the way such as the obvious hit singles and When Loving You Was Easy :gorlonfire:
People always talking about her debut as a classic and that?s good. I just couldn?t get into her sound and voice. She can?t sing to me just like Solange. No matter how great the song is I can?t bear the vocal.

She has a lovely sweet voice. Especially on that debut album.
When she's not giving Tina Turner>>>>
Her voice is so sweet
What happened to her?

J. Cole's artist Ari Lennox and fellow D.C. native cites both Mya & Amerie as influences

Nevertheless, Lennox takes great pride in being from Washington, a city that was home to singers such as Mya and Amerie, whom Lennox cites as major influences.
