I don't think Christina was trying to give Britney at all. She would always try to separate herself. That's why she would oversing to prove that, "Hey, I'm different. I can really sing." She went the slut-a-licious route because she wanted to. It fit her personality at the time. A lot of people have her the hardest time and completely gave Britney and Beyonc? a pass even though they would do the same thing because Christina looked a little less pretty and more gritty.
