The way everyone is reading each other with truth :plzstop:
So many continental Africans think just like white people. These comments are so disappointing, but I appreciate yall proving this to me today.

as if some of the biggest walking coons on the planet aren?t African American :dead:
Are those curly things in your head genuine African NAPS :howfestive:?
I think that's where most of the BETTER THAN feelings come from honestly
Being raised from Africans and African Americans was an experience because you see AA make African jokes and Africans give "I'm nothing like that ghetto trash lol!" It's sad
The amount of African booty scratcher jokes I've heard v c xxxxc
But fortunately I've never seen that from my parents

My aunt loved wearing her fake kente cloth outfits/hats to church and mess. lol :omf:
And my grandmother certainly didn't sit around talking about "We ain't African! Ewww!"
If anything she'd tell me about the history of slavery in her family. As much as she knew about it, at least. About how her grandmother was the product of slave rape, etc. She never sat around and romanticized certain things.
It was never the easiest thing for me to listen to, but I admire her strength.
dude
I didn't realize how RECENT slavery was until my mom showed me a picture of my great great grandma who was light fucking skinned with a white Daddy :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop:
I was.... DISTRAUGHT
Like, her dad was a legit white man and I couldn't take
That's when I knew my lineage was a MESS :dead:

dfsfr
!!!
My dads family will read anyone black that wasn't born in Africa, including me and my siblings
:omf: :omf: :omf:
!!!!
I agree 1000000000%
That's why I always cringe when the girls say "black people always....."
Like, we're a fucked up people. Accept that :dead:
While I personally don't think we're THE most fucked up, we have issues that will take time to fix
I just hope white people haven't shaped the way the world is forever
But, being colored today is nothing like it was in 1850
So I still have hope. It's just hard because we are still being killed for being black every day

It'll get better with time.
Unfortunately I honestly don't believe that we're going to see true "change" in our lifetime.
I'm sure that we'd love to believe that we will, but the amount of time that we've been free is still largely eclipsed by the time we were enslaved. Still a lot of pushing to do - generations worth of pushing IMO.
But it's kinda cool that we got to see the first Black president elected, etc., although he was followed by an openly racist White man. . :omf: Providing yet another wake up call.
XXNNBXXNXBX
No, I KNOW we won't see true equality in our lifetime
Obama was a rare moment when we tried to convince ourselves racism wasn't real anymore
But he was literally 'perfect'
No bad history, charismatic, smart, light skinned :plzstop:
We won't see a Mexican or woman president for decades for sure
A black man only became president because America needed to show it was above that bullshit..... And because the opponents sucked.
Obama is great, don't get me wrong. But Trump is proof how nasty this place is. They've been showing out since he started running
This is why I want all humans to die lol!
Yeah it's a bittersweet thing to say but because of his racist ass, black people have been waking the fuck up
They don't fuck with us and it's fine. We are our own people. It's okay.
I just hate that it took a racist ugly fag ass this to happen
The natural girls and WAKANDA girls were nonexistent 3-4 years ago. :dead: :dead:
