Yeah I mostly just come across new music by y'all on here or on Spotify.

I can't imagine listening to the same mess for years though. No ma'am.

I wonder how much work/relationship/real life stuff factors into this. I used to spend days downloading music and taking it all in. I definitely can't do that anymore

The industry is different.  New people suck, first of all.  Secondly, it?s not as easy as it used to be when you just had to listen to the radio or watch videos to discover new artists.  I have to actively look around the net for new talent, and sift through a lot of BS to find anything worthwhile.

The ?new? stuff I typically find is old.

You don?t have to do shit these days.

Spotify has a discover tab and recommendations based on the people I listen to / follow :plzstop:

It?s never been easier to find new music.

Interesting article. I'm always down for discovering new artists/music but a lot of these new artists are a bit samey with the except of a few.

Right  :kii:

I do think there's much larger pool of artists now so that can be annoying but it's not "hard".

I discover new artists all the time by using Shazam or asking people what they?re playing  when I?m in different places. That?s how I discovered Zara Larsson four years ago or so.
