So I posted about this in the random thoughts thread but I thought I might as well make a thread about it.
I'm about to finish my master's now and I'm thinking of moving to London as that's the place to be, and I don't want to move too far away from my family. I've got a few potential job offers in London atm and the plan is to move there after 3-6 months of working because at that point I'll have enough to consider moving.
The issue is, everywhere I've been looking has been expensive AF :plzstop: I mean I know London is expensive but SHIT
Anyway, what do you girls recommend for a young professional? Should I house share? Where should I be looking? I need HELP
:stressed:
Definitely houseshare. Great way to meet people and helps you get acclimated with the city. Hackney/Plaistow/East Ham are relatively cheap. East London in general >>>>
Share if you want to be central and in a safe area.
If you expanding to outside the center. West-London is the least ghetto and the safest with the uk cia equivalent being stationed there.
N
Chester got the trade but living there? Hell no.
No shade.

Not west London in the city. In the greater London area. The heathrow airport area. Also got the best connection to the city.

The quality of life in London sucks unless you're making major bucks. The city is really only suitable for the super rich. That is why I left. I don't want to discourage you so at least give it a go. The nightlife is... :ohwow:
BUT DONT GET INTO DRUGS. Everyone in London seems to be on something.

You can buy a 3-bedroom semi-detached house in Manchester for ?120k.
In London you?ll be paying around 5% of that per year to your landlord for them to pay their mortgage all for a a bedroom in a shared house.
Do you plan to move sis?
