The production style of the remix is similar to Independent Women and I think it would fit right into the Survivor album.

THe ?Remix? was the original version. Just like with independent women pt II being first.

Not sure why Columbia wanted the grease filtered out for the soundtrack.

The originals are the best, The cartoonish strings in Independent Woman Pt.2 slays me everytime, It's honestly better than the soundtrack version...Columbia must have been looking for a pop version that why they changed it...
