Black women are so insecure.
I see her point, but I don't agree
Cuz it's cute n sessy
I mean, niggas are going to the barber every week, cutting off the circulation to their damn brains with durags, using all kinds of chemicals to slick their naps down and dying their hair blonde to give an Odell mess and it's all chocked up to self expression, but when black women are accused of hating themselves when they do any of the above. :ermm: That's not kinda weird?
The only difference I see is that black men don't face the same societal stigmas when it comes to their hair.

I mean... what?s the real difference?
Black Men are going out of their way to achieve a look that would otherwise be deemed unnatural. No different than a weave
I don't knock anyone for putting a wig or weave on, that's their business
I just don't see waves being the same as a weave or a wig, it's just product applied to hair to slick it down and wearing a rag so that it stays in place.
Either way I see a lot more black men doing the coil brushed look these days.
I see her point, but unless you're altering the texture of your hair then I consider it natural. It's just a different style.
I agree, Kae' but it seems to be easier for men to play aloof instead of admitting that they give in to some of the same western beauty ideals that women do

!!!
Now the men that perming, that's a different story
Ppl just don?t care as much about men?s hair in general
and I never heard any guy saying they wanted hair like any other race
That's just like someone rocking dreads. That's still their natural hair. It's just in a different style.

Not really. A brush & a durag can only do so much.
Now if they were perming their mess that would be a different story
Guys do get texturizers
I have and they are basically perms.
Then you have the ?pimp? look where Katt Williams, Snoop etc
get press and curls, relaxers etc
It happens but it?s just a different mindset. It?s not about having straight hair like other races for the most part IMO
Brushing your hair and getting it trimmed/cut =/= perm

Tbh everybody loves waves/a fade on a nigger
But let them curly naps get higher than an inch and people are disgusted

I've seen men with brushes in their pocket - constantly brushing and brushing to make sure their waves stay in tact and make people "sea sick".
I see it all as harmless and fun.
Just let people do what they want. Long as they're not going out of their way to hurt anyone.
Hhbnnn
Now wait sis cause when the girls wanna slap on a blonde wig you?ll call it self hate.
Lash these niggers damn it!

Not all the time. sdnsd
But when the blond weave is paired with blue contacts and flour colored foundation, it raises questions for me.

What are you gonna do with that?
I had to restrain myself from saying something to female coworkers down south a couple of times.
The guy was clearly just growing his hair and it looked fine to me. How do you know he wants to cut it?
It took me years to get the courage to grow my hair after I turned 18 cause my mothet would never let me grow and when I got older every negro that had some kind of association with me would be tell me I need a hair cut.
When I had my hair low and brushed down I had ?good hair?, but when I had an afro it was nappy and needed to be cut.
I don't give a fuck about anybody head
No
This reminds me of that time a girl on Twitter said men getting their hair cut is just as unnatural as women wearing weave.

It is and yiu dont think so because youre misogynistic
Having hair imported from asia, altering it even more by applying heat, having to put on gloves to apply chemicals to it, using scissors and having to cut the lace part out so nobody can tell it's fake, using paintbrushes to bleach/dyke the hair etc etc.
djjj
To compare that to greasing your scalp and brushing (something that's just standard grooming) djdjdd. Women are delusional.
:ummwhat:
I didnt know Drais hated Black women this mych
No wonder him and baph get along
Well black women hate fags so we're pretty much even.
I keep telling y'all it'd all be easier if EVERYONE died

There?s a difference between niggas brushing their hair to achieve curls and black women plopping European, Malaysian, Remy etc. hair on their heads....
waves are natural (for most black hair)
r they ok?
It's just training your hair to move in that pattern naturally
a durag is just a hair protectant really
I'm not getting this mess tbh--waves is definitely as US thing

very damn different
thought I was missing something
waves are natural :uhh:
Its just a matter of training your SHORT hair to lay down in a formation mess
that's why if you notice, depending on the hair type, the size and amount of waves vary depending on the person
