Don't think we've ever had a thread like this.
I'll start off.
This is my great grandfather (my father's grandfather) Wiliam. Although I never got to meet him, I know a lot about him. He was a very successful farmer. A very simple man, and had many crops, from which he made his living. But here's the thing: Even though he had a business to run, he was known for giving away his goods for FREE to children who were hungry and adults as well.
He was a business man with a heart. And I am proud to have his last name. I honestly believe I get my emotional side from my dad's side. Cuz my mother's side is straight to business type people. :plzstop: But more specifically, I know I get it from my great grandpa William.
I'm inspired every time I go to visit Georgia, and get to roam all the land where he once farmed, and ended up purchasing.

Who inspires you? Doesn't have to be a family member or friend. But who do you look up to? And want to be like?
I look up to my uncle, who happens to be gay as well. He carries himself in such a way that makes you respect him. Truly someone who is not defined by his sexuality. He's so at peace and comfortable with himself. College educated with multiple degrees and in a career that allows him to see the world. Also very artistic. He taught me that being gay is only a portion of who I am and that I'm a man before anything else. So grateful for him.

She has black ancestry, she's one of us. of course she counts. :dead:
I think Mariah's brand is so strong that people forget what she looked when she first debuted.
Before she started straightening and bleaching her hair and mess.
She was giving you bi-racial realness.

Brandy- I love her soul. Something about her is so connected to her higher self.
Monica- everything about her. Literally everything. Her beauty, her love for God, her love for family, her ability to balance her career and family life, her being down to earth, her honesty, her love for people. She's everything to me.
My Grandfather
My Dad
My Mom
My Friends
Tbh I draw inspiration from everyone. We are all fearfully and beautifully made and I try to look at the beauty in people and am always looking to better myself; so what better way to learn than by looking at the positive and beautiful traits in people?

Loved hearing about your great grandpa
My inspirations are the people in my life that I always correspond with.

sssssdddssss
One of my old Fuck buddies pretty much helped mold my view on life and see how limitless it is, as an adult. All within a few years.
I went from thinking I could only do and be certain things as a black man to realizing I could really do almost anything I want. That expression is real. And today, that realization is why I'm so happy and enjoying my life right now.
I never told that faggot that though. He's a dick.
:helloimangie:
And honestly, it may sound crazy but I've never taken in "inspirations"
I feel like I have to live certain things and experience them before I can call someone or something an inspiration.
There's nothing or no one I want to be but me, and that requires me to live day by day as Antonio. While I appreciate and take in experiences of others, I'll never be them or experience it the same way.
