Where is that pic of Viola staring at Halle
OMG
Dnndndjdkdkkxk
This reminds me of when I was in elementary school and the teachers would place me and the other black girls at the same table so we could watch that Time Traveling MLK cartoon.
That's why I never use SA
The arrangement of is what looks a mess
they got the 3-4 little nigglets in the corner by the door like they?re in time-out or something
Apartheid is alive and well, it seems.

It could be that the Black kids naturally wanted to be around one another and hang out together in class often.
Could be a completely innocent photo.
I never attended a predominately White school as a child but I'd imagine that it feels something like what I feel at work when it comes to the predominate White staff there vs. the smaller group of POC staff.
Naturally I gravitate to the POC's. Yes it is some form of segregation but it's where I am more comfortable and can be more of myself.
Hopefully the parents can find a school where there is more variety. That seems to be the issue here. The picture just emphasizes that IMO.
:uhh:
I went to a predominantly all white school. I think the only reason mess like this didn?t happen was because the teachers knew my ddy had money

Sarah Huckabee, plea?!
Kids wanna be with other kids...period. Not just other black kids. Maybe if they were teenagers I could believe that.
jhjhgjhhghggh
they still got segregation over there? :uhh:
guys... that's the "bad" table :omgwatshappening:

Bullying that stems from racism and colorism even starts early in elementary many times.... So if you really think that it takes a kid to grow into a teenager to realize that some people have more in common with them than others, or to spot when someone is different...I think you're mistaken.
Even so, it still would fall on the educators. They should be encouraging them to sit among their peers.
I feel like you?re absolving the teachers completely.
But you know...it is probably for the best. Teach em early to steer clear of those white devils
boom' is getting PUMMELED in this bitch
never witnessed anything like this before
The black kids probably didn't feel comfortable around them...
i think its innocent and they just sat at the table together
its kinda funny without context we think separated from whites wrong doing
id sit at the table with the black kids too like i did when i was in vermont
not everyone drools over a white tea
niggas still sit in the back of the bus too
will u riot
Quote from: I got Black in my family on January 09, 2019, 11:09:06 PM
omfg We always went to the back of the bus when I was in junior/high school LMnsndnsdnsdnndsnnsdnnn
All the Black ghetto kids would RUSH back to mess. dbbsbbbbb It was always lit
I'm sure if someone snapped a pic of us and built a "OMG Look at what they're doing to our kids" story mess around the pic there would be "outrage" in 2019
this is very true

So it was just a coincidence that classroom only had 4 black students but also had a separate table that could only seat 4 people but also happened to be shoved in the corner somewhere? :guys:
Quote from: I got Black in my family on January 09, 2019, 10:33:27 PM
I don't think the teachers should force the children to play with another based on race.
"Hey you! Black kid, come play with the Whites too. Stop only playing with the Blacks."
Instead I'd put the responsibility of actively finding a school that is more diverse on the parent. If that's what they desire. They may be just fine with having their kid there, and the kid may be fine as well too, as long as they're not the ONLY Black kid in the class.
And, no matter how much the teacher encourages 3 black kids out of 20 to mingle around with the Whites, they'd still be the 3 Black kids in a class of 20 Whites. They could somersault into the White circle, flip around it, and they'd still be a painfully obvious minority in the grand pic of it all.
The fact that there are so few of them in the class might actually be what brings them together. I wouldn't underestimate the awareness of a child. At all.
I can see this argument.
This Trump America has me side eying everything involving white people.

U kno wha!!!!
I?m pissed again
MAybe the colored children tried to rob the normal kids
So uhh as a teacher you don?t observe this shit and try to get more desks so you can move up ANY kid that is sitting in that death corner to sitting with the group? You know create a sense of comradery among the class?
The fact there's more white kids in that particular class in a predominantly black Black Country :dead:
This was definitely done on purpose, look at the all white teachers

exactly
Especially in a country that practically invented apartheid
I thought there were a LOT of honkies in South Africa ?
They are the minority but hold the majority of power
Weren?t the blacks going to take power by force. I remember last year seeing there was a huge conference
They wanted to take the farms off the white farmers and give them back to the black farmers but I think European powers blocked that and threatened them with sanctions
And the last thing South Africa needs is a block on their exports

QuoteAccording to the 2011 Census, 79.2% of South Africans (41 million) were 'Black Africans', 8.9% were Coloured (4.62 million), 8.9% were white (4.59 million), 2.5% were 'Indian or Asian' (1.29 million) and only 0.2% (280.4 thousand) who declared another race.
They have affirmative action in South Africa, but with education post-high school costing a fortune, who do you think gets the higher end jobs?

The pic was taken on their first day of school :dead:
Omffff
And these assigned seats! You see the names on the tape at the top?
Like even IF the kids decided to sit like that, isn't up to the teachers to get them to integrate?
And it was a teacher who took that photo and sent it a parent/teacher WhatsApp group to let everyone how their kids first day was going :dead:

Are you gonna fly us down to South Africa and start off a march or something?
Well the outrage prompted ANC politicians to visit the school and see what the hell is up
sorry because it sounded like you had a plan yourself or something for a sec

So what's being done about this picture
Are people just being outraged about it or has anyone started petitions , etc.
Hopefully something is being done
Awareness around this mess needs to be raised
Ok so keep your passive aggressive comments to yourself next time and let the people who wanna discuss the mess and be outraged...be outraged.

Oh - this is in South Africa.
OK it makes more sense now. I skimmed over the description but that completely changes everything to me.
I was thinking like ... what Black parent in their right mind would toss their kid into a predominately White school here in the Trump era
gorl
:dead: :dead: :dead: :dead:
Honestly this is wrong
But I didn?t like eating or being around those demons myself
The way it went from "it could be innocent!" to "everyone wants to be angry!" to "well what are you doing about it!?" to "well I don't care anyway!"
gorl just sis down and take off the devils advocate badge for 2 minutes.
