he came up as a match (thru AncestryDNA), we did the homework and I found he was from my father's side.
did more homework and found out the exact ancestor we had in common.

seems so distant of a relation but we still came up as a match.
It was confirmed through the names he supplied to me, which I verified with my great aunt. She was so excited, cuz there were names included that she was trying to remember for the longest time. she remembered all of her aunts' names, but never knew her uncles'.
