Y'all are so late with this bandwagon stanning. Support the black artists. Adele doesn't need y'all.

We are on a brandy board and talk about R&B music frequently. We do support black artists.

This may sound kinda messed up, but I almost feel guilty supporting Adele. The way the media has PUMPED sis up while women of color who make soul music basically get ignored. IDK, I think she's talented, but it kinda irks me. Not really her fault though.

Eh, if you're a fan...you're a fan. There's nothing wrong with supporting music you enjoy. And you can't expect not buying Adele's music is gonna help Ledisi or Fantasia see the top forty anytime soon.

I'm not a fan of her music because I think it's overcooked, bland middle of the road trash designed for people who think listening to it makes them look deep or cultured.

You said it perfectly here. This is exactly how I feel about her music. I use a couple of songs, but overall I just can't get in for this very reason.

And I know there are people who genuinely use her, like Bentley, and that's totally cool,
but a lot of these other "fans" are so transparent. Especially when all they ever talk about are
Britney, Bey, Nicki, & Selena Gomez.
