How do y'all deal with giving your parents money.
My mom asked me for a couple of dollars for gas money so I gave her my card.
She took $60, this not including earlier in the week whenI got a message from my people's Saying i spent $20 at Walmart, but I was at work, turns out she took my card after I had left it at home and got $20 so that's $80 in totaly, plus the $40 I spent on her for Mothers day last week & another $20 she asked me for.
So in essence I gave this woman $140 in two weeks.
Which isn't a problem but like, she be having me think she only needs a couple of damns dollars and then ends up spending so much shit and she gets $700 a month herself because my little brother has disability.
Like am I wrong for being a bit...annoyed?
:plzstop:
They've never asked me for any money
My bum ass siblings are another story tho
:udontlookok:
*edit
My parents would never ask me for money its hard getting them to accept gifts
I just deposit money into her acct every so often.

You crying about 140 after taking care of your lil ass all those years
It's not about the money.
It's about her jus...TAKING it. :uhh:
I'd have to get her together a bit
like ask FIRST atleast
Like when you say I'm just gonna take a couple of dollars,I'm thinking like $5-$20.
Not $40-$60.
:uhh:

My grandmother has a lot of pride when it comes to asking for anything.
Even when I proactively give it to her I get a little pushback.
I think I picked up a lot of that attitude from her.
My father never asks me for anything. He knows better. sdssdsdsd :plzstop:

He goes to his job, gets his check and provides for himself and my younger half brothers.
But if he ever needed anything I'd give it to him honestly.
My parents are the same way. They dont take anything from anyone. I have to do it in a way that she has no choice but to accept
They never ask, so I don't know how I'd react
My parents never ask for money but my younger siblings whew. I'm about to set them up on yewtube sheesh.
my parents have. I have no problems giving it to them. But in this situation, just tell her she needs to let you know a set amount and not to use your card without your authorization
I give my parents a lot of money. It is expected in our culture. They see kids as an investment.
BUT your mom should not have access to your cards that is too much. Give her cash when she needs it.
