Girl give it up
I still really like it
Love how her signature Harmonies and things somehow made it all work
Still dislike this song
Ack
The way this hit #2 but could've been 1
:stressed:
Really sad how this would've been a #1 if they hadn't changed the rules
Ghan did wtf she had to DO. I don't care what anyone says, it was a great comeback single. If she would've followed up with Do You Know........
You know what.. somebody lock this thread. Im STILL pissed.
I have loved it for from the moment it was premiered on the radio

but ain't SHE the blame for choosing Wildest SLEEP?
Do You Know had potential to be bigger than PID. She would've lead the R&B Mike Will sound.... who makes these decisions? They need a panel of FAGS for these artists...
This was such a grown ass era for her. Her style, live performances, and the music.
She gave natural sexiness instead of that Afro era try hard mess.
My mess, just finished bumping it.
Ugh, I could KILL Breyon for ruining everything.
We'd probably have 2 more albums by now.
It always confuses me when people say they didn't like this ..it was the perfect comeback song for that time and she had Chris in the video.. they were both gorgeous..and that bridge tho.. chemistry downe.

The bridge and chorus>>>>>> her tone on both parts were A1. Sean Garrett could've had a better flow/melody/lyric choices for the verses but she def did what she had to do to grab the GP's attention again...
The performances were everything and a cool proud moment for me as a Bran fan b/c the fuckin growth and slayage
:stressed:
This was an amazing single tbh.
The song got so much love.
I swear every time I turned the radio on PID would be on.
I don't think this song meshed in with the flow of 211 though.
I will always be livid with Hype Williams though for not editing the right dance moves with the chorus and cutting the entire choreo/dance breakdown they rehearsed for the video... actually someone should have him re-edit that shit with performance shots only

We didn't like it cause we like when our Queen SINGS. This talking to the beat just wasn't it. I understand they did it for the feature, but it ultimately didn't carry the album. I'm sure Queen will redeem herself with this next first single. I've been ready...

u think so?
PID was the most upbeat song on the album.
The other songs were more mid tempo and smooth.
PID kinda rattled the flow of the album a bit imo.
I appreciate it so much more now. I still think I would've automatically hated it if anyone else released it though.
They should've pushed this to Pop radio and it would've been a top 10 for sure. Bran always drops the ball on albums when she doesn't see the success she once had!

Have you heard the album? She had a lot of upbeat songs on it. I wouldn't even consider this upbeat. It's a Midtempo bounce record.

It charted on the Hot 100 with what I consider little to no support from the label. I was so happy to hear new music from her on the radio. I heard it several times on my local urban stations. It's a shame Wildest Dreams didn't dare as well. I recall only hearing that on the radio once.
Speak for yourselves, PID is a bop and I'm glad Bran chose it as a single.
I dont care for this video
put it down was her worst song period
I loved it from jump
it was refreshing to hear her a little current
And she sounds so good on it

!!! For the most part, the singles from her previous 3 albums were just sad/heartbreak songs. What About Us, Talk About Our Love, Who Is She, Right Here, LD. I loved that after all those years, we just got something fun and carefree from her. It was needed.

And I am convinced that Brandy could do wonders again - if proper single choices were made...
My older cousin, hiphop head, who could care less about Brandy -- when he heard "Wildest Dreams"... he was like "how you come out with a PID and then release this? this is trash".
But he actually liked PID -- his girl loved it. And I'm sure he would have liked DYK or LMG, even.
