Come on Auntie
you know she is from the 90s if she has a rose on her thigh
She's looking amazing
I truly believe this will be the biggest era for Mary. She has a new album, tour and several movies being released in 3rd & 4th quarter. I'm so freaking proud of her CONSISTENCY, humbleness, and strength as an artist, actress, and a beautiful black woman!!!! #thequeeniscoming
Mary has put out an album most times every 2 years. She has been very consistent and never been afraid of flopping. She always come back harder. So much respect for her.

I agree! It has always been about the artistry and message for Mary. She eventually got out of her own way.

Mary flop isn't like the other girls flops.
Mary and Love and Life under performed but she always came back harder on the follow up album (Even thought
Mary was a classic).

To enjoy, appreciate and fully understand why there is something about Mary you must start from the beginning with What's The 411. You see the secret with Mary's success is that she brings you into her world chronologically based on where she's at internally, so it's imperative that you experience the journey in the most authentic flow as possible.
Share My World is an awesome album, but it's apart of the trilogy of MJB blueprint. My favorite album by far is the Mary album because it's the album that transcended her to another level.
She is sooooo everything
I haven't played this song in a while, but I'm in that mood tonight.

If you are under 30 I think Share My World is the best place to start. It has that classic 90s sound that will be accessible to most people.
Growing Pains and My Life 2 are great contemporary albums to start with for a casual fan.

July is the start of the 3rd quarter, so I'm hoping she is still on schedule. I feel her new single will be released soon before the tour starts next month, and then album afterwards. Thriving can't be the official first single.

You think? I need to ponder on that one. It seem it'll be weird to start with SMW and proceed forward. Her next and, IMO, best work is also her most mature album, Mary. I feel there would be a disconnect. Everything after SMW is so drastically different from the trilogy.

Right. My Life and 411 had some hits but the albums are very dated and I don't think the under 30 people would get into it as much.
