Brandy
Afrodisiac (2004)
Brandy Norwood's fourth album was recorded during troubled times for both the singer (a messy break-up) and her new collaborator, producer Timbaland (a fallow hit-making period), and it shows. The sound is lush but muted and withdrawn. Afrodisiac is an understated and underrated work, but at its heart is a deeply honest break-up album.
:stressed:
I remember buying the physical copy that came with a bonus disc of Like it was Yesterday.

Amazing album! Ugh, let me go play "Finally"! :stressed:
Brandy got in witn Aphrodisiac no shade. It's so different and loaded with amazing songs although it didn't sell a lot it made an impact and that's. Kinda a miracle in itself. Even Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rihanna found inspiration from it and Rollingstone SERVED for that 4 🌟 review. Work Bran bitch.
should I go >>>>>>>>
the way this album was received by every corner of the music industry
