It's a wonder that Brandy was able to avoid this kind of backlash for playing a character that typically has been depicted as white. I'm sure there were people that felt the same way about that, but things like social media can make a vocal minority sound like an angry majority.

I'm sure there were PLENTY of FCC complaints ncbvnbfbff. They just didn't have Twitter to broadcast them..
