This was true :dead:
honestly I doubt Diddy would want 2 groups that are no longer signed to him
and barely successful to be on this reboot to only show that none of the 3 bands he put together worked

If by "finish with an artist" Aubrey means invest tons of cash into them until they eventually turned into the PussyCat Dolls
Sorry hun but I didn't see it happening lol
Ummmm this is kinda dumb. They were successful the whole time they were with him........ And they have more than 1 successful album unlike the pussycat dolls :dead:

Daddy's track record speaks for itself and many have spoke on it so this isn't just about her or that group

I think the issue with Diddy is that most of Bad Boy's artists didn't end up well off
Faith is like the only one and she left kinda early
112 is split up, BIG is dead, Ma$e fell off after the 1st album and can't decide whether or not to preach, Craig Mack died, Loon quit rap and became a Jew I think, Black Rob got locked up, I think G Dep died, Carl Thomas is doing like OK, Total broke up, Dream, Daband I mean...

You're saying they're more successful than PCD?

Nigger whatever you're smokin, pass me some.
Is that what i said?  BUT if we're being honest those girls don't eclipse them like that.  PCD has 1 double platinum album and the 2nd album flopped. Both of Danity Jane's albums are platinum. If Diddy would've done right by those girls they definitely could've been bigger. This is PCD not Destiny's Child  :dead:
It's always laughable how lil u know about things u speak on

I dunno

I just don't think it's fair to act is if Bad Boy just produced a bunch of Lumidees or something.

sdsddsdsdsds

Of course 112 split up. That's what most bands do. sdsddsds But we got some solid ass albums and fucking singles from them :usureuok:

what label is really "nice" to its artists tho

I think Diddy gets dragged because he put himself out there as the face of the label.

sddsdsdsddsd

Its kinda his fault but its a damn business at the end of the day. No one's really "nice"
a lot of artists have complained about being signed to him and what they went through business wise, not getting paid for their songwriting or signing deals where he gets all or most of the publishing it's messy

I like Aubrey but just close the chapter , goddess.

He was actually on point with his assumptions about her. Look how much she's changed over the years. He clocked where she was going with the mess before it even started getting out of control.

At least Dawn keeps her mess to photoshop

I'm looking at the credits from the 2nd album

And see Dawn's name listed in about three songs as a writer, among an army of other writers.
adsadsdas Which means that mess was split.

I doubt that was gonna bring in enough for her to buy a condo in Beverly Hills, retire comfortably and mess.

the album went Platinum though and in addition she was IN the group, that's supposed to get her some kinda checks coming in

ACTUALLY they sold more when their 2nd cd released. The CD was Gold like a few weeks after it came out.
The album is platinum but diddy disbanded the group so why tf would he buy a platinum plaque for a group he didn't wanna represent anymore? And they were also set to go on tour with Janet Jackson but that ended because of all the shit. I swear u never know wtf ur talking about  :plzstop:

QuoteDanity Kane is the self-titled debut album by American girl group Danity Kane. It was first released by Bad Boy and Atlantic Records on August 22, 2006 in the United States.  The album sold over 109,000 copies in its first day of release, eventually selling 234,662 copies in its first week according to Hits Daily Double, placing it at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart

QuoteWelcome to the Dollhouse debuted on top of the US Billboard 200, with first week sales of 236,000 copies making it the band's second consecutive #1 album.

Diddy is no different than many other labels who use an artist until they feel as if they're wrung dry and are of no longer any use to them...then disposes of them.

The difference here IMO is that Diddy made such a point of putting his face into every got damn video, song and photoshoot with those artists that we actually had a person to point at instead of an entire label.

People harp on the label's less successful artists but we can't forget that Bad Boy brought us Biggie. 112. Faith Evans. Mase.

The label definitely followed through with acts, but I think the height of its power was in the 90's.

Aundrea made my soul cry when she was talkin about all she ever wanted was to be in a group. She wasn't tryna do a bunch of other stuff like D Woods and Aubrey. They all played a part in the breakup but Diddy didn't have to fuck them over like that. And I think a lot of that last ep with the 5 of them was hyped up and dramatized for ratings. Diddy wanted to have a good show over putting in the work to make them gel as a group

And he took her with him to try to make something else with her.

I think Diddy was just using his noggin. It just so happens that Dirty Panties didn't work out as he planned.
Really, they should've put the girls in groups on the show before he picked one. They would've been able to bund (Nene) and figure each other out. The girls were doomed from the start

Aundrea was making stops at Mickey Dee's

The most talented, useful, hard-working and salvageable bitch from the group was Dawn

Their album sales declined with the second mess.

But scored a bigger single with "Damaged".

Diddy did what most labels would have done. Cut his losses while the getting was good and kept it pushing

And on top of the decline in sales, they were at each other's throats. And Aubrey was somewhere morphing into a Baywatch bimbo
While D. Woods was somewhere dykin' it up in Atlanta and Aundrea was snackin on fudge pops

I think a lot of that drama between them was real

The addition of all that dramatic music was probably extra sdsdsddsdsdds
but I can imagine things coming to that with a girl group

I mean we're talking about a girl group. It's not exactly uncommon for things to get real messy. What was really fucked up is that Aubrey left without even saying goodbye to Aundrea. It's kinda crazy how toxic things got between them but that's what happens. I can imagine Aundrea being frustrated that no one could pin down Aubrey and just make her focus on music.

She was just so intent on being a superstar in her own right, and it didn't help that people were gassing her up with those individual photoshoots for Blender and mess.

You had:
- a lil Mexican Danny Devito gor from a wholesome home who just wanted to sing
- the Black girl who just swam out of the waters of Katrina and was ready to work her ass off for success and make something of herself
- the country girl who just down for whatever and rolled with the flow and shut her mouth Kelly Rowland style
- then you had the privileged White gal from Cali who wanted to sell sex and be the next Pam Anderson-
-And her dyke slave who followed her around.

I mean..
vfvvcccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccds
af
f

I always knew Aubrey being in the group was inevitable because she was the most popular but it's a shame that was also the cause of their demise. yeah, they were doomed from the start.

He completely destroyed DK ... you forget he is BAD BOY .. he owns .. so yeah we are gonna look to him

faith biggie etc yeah yeah we know who he brought us but he ruined alot of other careers FACT

I think the issue with Diddy is that most of Bad Boy's artists didn't end up well off
Faith is like the only one and she left kinda early
112 is split up, BIG is dead, Ma$e fell off after the 1st album and can't decide whether or not to preach, Craig Mack died, Loon quit rap and became a Jew I think, Black Rob got locked up, I think G Dep died, Carl Thomas is doing like OK, Total broke up, Dream, Daband I mean...

basically !!! diddy aint shit when it comes to other artists...

I think y'all don't give DK their credit. Yeah there was issues but they held it together and did their jobs. Perfectly. We really didn't know there was drama until that last episode. They also talked about how they all collectively had a conversation about doing a 3 album making it bigger than the rest, getting as much coin as they can and calling it quits. They were smart, it's just that Diddy wanted ratings, fired Aubrey and all hell broke loose.

Members of the group were missing from live shows, as per Dawn in the finale mess.

Because Aubrey was too busy trying to Pam Anderson on Broadway, D. Woods was seeking out acting gigs, or whatever they were doing.

They were messy and it definitely started affecting the business and the experience of their fans.

I'd say Shannon and Dawn were committed. The other three were very here and there with it all - especially Aubrey and D. Woods .
but even with that it never made us feel there was issues within the group. We knew Aubrey was on Broadway. Any DK fan can tell you that we did not know they had issues until Diddy brought it up.

Da Band yes, don't sink any money into it

but Danity Kane was a POP group with Rnb elements in an era they could compete with PCD
They were doing great and touring was lucrative for them

If anything would've been questioned it was Day 26. They didn't even have moderate RnB success.
and he didn't even break them up, he broke Danity up and was going to keep Day 26 going

I mean Diddy is a horrible manager
his biggest client was one of the most successful rappers of all time and he got them killed
Aubrey just clocked tea
how is this even up for discussion  :uhh: :uhh:
