And i wouldn't say Cardi doesn't respect the art itself. She still does everything she can to please her fans and cater to them. Anything beyond that is extra. She also praises the gifted rappers that came before her and praised Nicki in the past
I think she'd be doing a much bigger disservice to herself if she kept up some charade as if she sits up and writes all of her music by the ocean or some mess.
Maybe she can lead Nicki to some good writers along with some other folks cause

The problem is though, not just cardi, but several of these new rappers openly state that they dont care about the quality of their music or trying to improve their content because they care about the money.

well that is trash and problematic, but Cardi DEFINITELY doesn't fall under that category. I think she cares very much and actually to a fault, cuz sometimes she does songs just for her audience rather than doing what she likes
She wanted more songs in the vein of "Be careful". She didn't write it, but she never hid that fact
There are many other ways to be an artist and i think she's hitting the mark on a lot of em. Especially performance wise. She's not a lazy girl
