It's a sci fi mess, deals with discrimination that mirrors the black and gay plight

It wasn't as popular as it should have been because it came out the same time as Avatar: a visual masterpiece at the time

However, district 9 is fucking amazing and makes you jump, cry, and want the 'bad guy' to win
