How can gay men enter the church and expect Christians to ignore certain parts of what is CLEAR in the Bible?
The Bible explicitly says homosexuality is an abomination, and even describes an entire city that was burned down by "God" for its sins - including men sleeping with one another.
Let me be clear on this: So there's no confusion.... I don't believe in anything that book of fairytales has to offer and I don't buy into Christianity.
But question here is: Should gay men support Christianity if it's based on a book that EXPLICITLY condemns homosexuality? Is there really logic behind getting upset that people within the same churches they want to attend bring up those scriptures?
Why do we support Christianity when it's based on a book that explicitly condemns us? And simply find a way around those verses.....Like other Christians do when they don't really "agree" with something they find in the Bible.
If the whole church thing is all about being obedient to "The Word" 🙄 , aren't Christians simply doing that by condemning the same mess that's in that book of fairytales that they love so much?
Firstly christ and his teachings are historical facts
Secondly the book or the word condemns everyone engaging in sin
Homosexuality isnt confined by just sex ppul seem to overlook the bond one could have in favor of just visualizing lustful acts.......there is lustful and sinfull sodomy occuring with thehetero sexual template it condemns them as well
The book is giltered and altered through human conciousness and interpolation
So there will be holes in tbe story
But when u ask god for disceenment it will come to u
And that may or may not be im full congruancy with whats written
God could never be confined to a book
But its alot that is real and true as well
Many people will get different realizations hence why we have seventh day adventis baptist appostolic mormon catholic

in this regard there is never homosexuality because energy will always be in alignment with God's design
It is the over focus on the physical world where ppul develop limitations and only look at genitals to support gods plan which is infinite and encomopases all possibilities if so desired
So if ppul see 2 men physically one will embody feminine energy and other will.be masculine energy and thats iirespective of physical evidence that suggests otherwise

Some would argue that being a homosexual or gay isn't a sin.. It's the acts that are sinful when certain gays take it to a dark place. It then becomes unnatural and sinful and there is a price to pay. I really have no comment.

And yes there are other "sins" - but those "sins" are also called out by the priests, pastors, bishops, etc. regarding things like sleeping with someone else's spouse, etc. (Although many of them don't follow these rules themselves).
But the book clearly labels homosexuality as an "abomination". So if a pastor is calling out other "sins" and throws that one in there too, is there really a reason to be upset - especially if you're a follower of the Bible yourself?
Why wouldn't the pastor call out what's actually in this Book that these Christian gay men believe in and subscribe to? It's not as if someone took a pen and edged it in there (besides the heterosexual White man/men who originally wrote the entire book)
If homosexuality is explicitly described as an abomination in the Bible, and the pastor's job is to "save souls from hell", isn't it logical that homosexuality would be on the list of things for him to save his congregation from?
There's only so much you can blame on "translation" when the "Word" is crystal clear when it comes to that passage.
There is alot of context that is missing for one the bible does not condemn a consensual same sex union and the bible often speaks about love between two men
There are many things that are considered an abomination
Homosexual rape was often used as a tool to demean express anger and brutality and dominance
Not really lust or desire or attraction
It is a cropped interpretation of how those things came to.be
God made it impossible for men to lie to men in the same way they do women
Physically impossible
But u can commit crimes of rape and sodomy same sex or opposite sex
The pastor isnt wrong for pointing out those sins in their proper context which literally applies to everyone
( the abomination of homosexual rape doesnt allow a hetersexual rape as being holy)
This coupled with how god designed man and woman
Is how this perpetuates by assuming because god made man and woman with biological abilities to procreate that That can be the only expression of god and creation
No one should get mad pointing out sins they should get mad when they arent biblically literate enough to call the pastor owt
The book is not the problem
God supports same sex unions and true expression of gender without genital requirements as illustrated by the allowance and expansion of same sex marriages and a deeper understanding for trans globally
