Ashanti is the only one I never actually bought.

Mind you all these albums flooding out right after 2001 had me a bit conflicted about all of them but the music was good.

I bought Full Moon as soon as it came out. I remember stanning for the WHOLE album the first week and then I let my friend borrow it for a week and was going thru withdrawals. What About Us was everything to me and I remember logging on with my dial up connection to the foreverbrandy website to listen to the snippet of I Thought which I looped over and over. Those were the damn days. I stanned from the very beginning.

What Grammy did it deserved? I love Brandy and Full Moon is that girl (after Afro) but the right album won.

It took a while for me to appreciate FM. I really expected her to make another NSN. I was happy that there were so many songs on the album..so songs like Full Moon, Nothing, Wow and Come a little bit closer were more my style but later on I got into songs like I thought and What about us.

Ashanti's debut had lyrics that could have been written by a kindergartner and the vocals of a any ole girl from the block who likes to sing karaoke. It was absolutely disgusting

I remember I broke my tv and couldn't watch tv for a week. The same week the kids was talking about The new Brandy and Aaliyah video at the lunch table. I was so hype bout Bran but was more confused about Aaliyah because she was died. I didn't believe them lol.
