I've noticed a lot of people talking about Brandy like she hasn't been working hard and giving us music. Just because we haven't had a full length Brandy album since Two Eleven 7 years ago, doesn't mean she hasn't released a ton of music since then... She has given us Soundtrack features, Album features, Official Singles & Music Videos all just since 2016.. She's also become an even more "crossover" artist over these past years. She used to be a crossover artist for crossing from R&B into Pop.. Now she's had songs in genres from Dance, Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop, Deep House, Electro House & Future House (all EDM genre's selling tons worldwide) Let's get into it:

I think the major problem is that Brandy's core fans don't want her to be anything other than what she was in the 90's and early 2000's - but Brandy has evolved as a human and artist and her fans need to get with it and support all that she does, not just the work that fits into the old brand. She's given us many new EDM songs by sampling her work out to EDM labels around the world. She's given us Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, Country, Soul, EDM and so on and I hope that the fans can evolve to love it all and appreciate what we've gotten, and whatever we are about to get.
I say this out of LOVE for Brandy and for all the fans that love her too. :wub:

People just want her to look good and act like she's care about her public image. People will still be mad about her music but at least if she was on point with everything else and be the dope girl she has potential to be, we will at least have something to stan for as we tirelessly wait

My thought is, Brandy needs the support of a label to give us the best album she possibly can. If all the features, soundtrack releases, and singles she releases between albums don't get the support from her fans, why would a label invest all of their resources in her and her project?

A HQ Version was officially released to iTunes in 2016 Fats X Brandy Not The One .. It leaked in the early 2000's as We Could Never Be and there was a solo version that someone on the board had that they shared in LQ once upon a time but I can't find anymore. The solo version was EVERYTHING!

Yeah I kinda been saying this!
Whether you like the product or not is one discussion. But some act like Brandy hasn't seen a studio or hasn't released music in 7 years...it's simply not what they want. But those arguments aren't the same a people try to conflate the two.
Im not a fan of most of what's released but I'm not gonna say she's lazy, or given up, or don't care.
