His lawyers with the Innocence Project filed a Writ of Habeas Corpus on Tuesday before 1am, providing with new evidence pointing to Stites' fiance as her killer
Evidence backs Reed's claims he was having affair with Stites and that she may have been in an abusive relationship with her fiance Jimmy Fennell
One new witness who worked with Stites says she told her she was fearful of her fiance Fennell and was having an affair with a black man
A former deputy says Stites' coworkers would let her hide at work when her fiance came in because she was afraid he'd fight with her in public
