yes
Yes
YES
Absolutely
Def!
yea
Yup!
No
actually yes, I just wanted to be sarcastic because this is a clear YES
Does it still come on tv?
One of my favorites!
Yes. One of the most hilarious shows ever.
I just don't think so. This is not a show we are still talking about years later.
Everybody saying yes but I don't put this on the same pedestal as shows like Cosby, Living Single etc
hmmm
a black staple but not a classic. It's not really referenced/beloved enough to be a classic imo, even though it is hilarious. When I think of black sitcom classics I think of Moesha, The Cosby Show, Good Times, Martin, Living Single and A Different World.
I would put it somewhere with girlfriends and everybody hates Chris. Up there but not top tier tbhon
Stfu

This makes no damn sense, who else meter is this supposed to be measured on?
And what's the damn problem if it is? :disgusted:
Do it gotta be broadcasted in white America for it to matter?
It means it's frequently played in black households but not revered to the extent of the other shows I listed. Did you read the post
who said shit about white people :disgusted:

:uhm:
Absolutely. few black sitcoms can say that, post 90's
they kinda held it down
I seen moesha as a coming of age drama more than a sitcom
The parkers was funny

lol at Moesha. I know we love Bran, but The Parkers were better than Moesha. Countess made Moesha.
Not so much on Moesha. Season 1 - 4 alone and the content solidifies the show as a classic. I agree Countess played a major part too but the show overall was it. Them later seasons/cliffhanger tainted it a bit but it still did what it had to do for conversation starters
The Parkers is a classic too but it was a damn fool in its later seasons
me singing about Romero

The parkers was funny
This I agree with.
The Parkers was none stop hilarity.
Moesha was more calm and normal. Like it was funny but it had more variety in tone.

i think they mean culturally
Moesha meant more to young girls just from Brandy's look alone. It's definitely considered to be a classic, Kim or no Kim
The Parkers just happens to be the funnier show
n
And the Parkers definitely jumped the shark at one point as well :dead:
it wasn't flawless
