Why is this song taking off all of a sudden? No shade just genuinely curious because it was quite and after the 1st couple days of releasing and now I'm seeing it more frequently.

Did it play in a movie or t.v. show? A tiki tok?

It's called payola. You haven't notice Nicki can't do them on her songs because the label isn't backing her. She is trying to stay relevant with features that she can use payola with.

Spanish songs all kill streaming, I mean the native Spanish speaking population in the world is massive. The song would have been big without either of them. Asides from a few features, Cardi has a massive audience that she has yet to tap into. Cardi speaks Spanish much better than a lot of the American Latina girls so I am sure she is getting a lot of feature request from latin artists.
