Femme It Forward is extending its concert series with the new "Love Language" show scheduled for April 30 in Los Angeles. The all-female lineup includes headlining appearances from Deborah Cox and Brandy.
Additional performers for the show at Microsoft Theater will include Melanie Fiona, Amerie, Lil Mo, Teedra Moses, Sevyn Streeter, Brooke Valentine, Sunshine Anderson, Tweet and 702. More artists are expected to be announced, as well.
Hosted by former Basketball Wives cast member and TV Personality Tami Roman, the evening will feature an all-female lineup performing nostalgic love anthems spanning decades. The Love Language concert will kick off the all-female concert series that is set to return this year.
In 2019, the Femme It Forward multi-platform series debuted in April with a Rico Nasty panel discussion and performance at Harvard University sponsored by the Association of Black Harvard Women. Created by Femme It Forward's president and CEO Heather Lowery, the Femme It Forward series was established to spotlight female visionaries in front of and behind the scenes of the entertainment industry.
Other Femme It Forward shows included Cardi B in New York, Ari Lennox in Pennsylvania and Jill Scott in Texas. Leading music executives Bozoma St. John from Endeavor, BET's Jeanine Liburd and Live Nation's Nadia Rawlinson also addressed a crowd at Washington D.C.'s Broccoli Con for Femme It Forward's Black Women in the C-Suite panel last April.
Femme It Forward is a joint venture with Live Nation Entertainment.
Tickets for Love Language go on sale to the public Friday at 10 a.m. PST.
