Or will female rap fall off again? It fell off in the 1st place because bitches got old and we got tired of hearing the same shit. And now we have a bunch of... thots that aren't diverse and stuck on one sound
I have a strong feeling ppl are gonna toss them as a whole again :plzstop:
there is diversity actually though
from Young MA, Lizzo, Doja Cat, Megan, City Girls
I see it lasting
I don't see this stripper rap era lasting much longer tbh
Only the really talented ones will survive

when was female rap ever not a thing?
I know you nickels like to pretend like there was nobody out before or during her mess.
2007: Lil Mama, 3 top 10 hits of which 1 number 1
nickel been over for a while
Top selling female rapper 2014,15 and 16 : Iggy :receipts:
nothing revolves around nickel but cement and plastic.
the question needs to be will the rnb girls ever make a REAL comeback
aren't formation, love on the brain and boo'd up.. the last times a female RnB singer has managed a solo top 10? :ATLcameo:
Without Nicki these girls are toast

We don't have anyone that's supplying weird BARS. Maybe Doja. But I don't really love her recording tone

Absolutely. It was great fodder, which Atlantic knew it would be, causing them to court lady leshur & cupcakke with contacts that dealt with dissing Nicki in some kinda way. Cardi took that deal and the rest is history

Why would atlantic have to go outdoors for this alleged conspiracy theory? They have a wide range of female rappers in house.

Cardi ain't doing it
With social media and all that popping the way it is, i think it'll be fine from now on.
Usually everything in the music biz is cyclical, but especially when it comes to female artists and rap. I just think it was a lot easier to fade into obscurity back in the 80s, 90s and even the 2000's because if you flopped once or dare to flop consecutively.... you were outta here. There was no way to keep ur self relevant back then even in the sense of just keeping ur name on everyone's lips unless u did something outrageous that had nothing to do with music.
