Well chris writing his own music isnt impressive if the music isnt good. Anybody can write a song, writing a good song takes skill.
Chris has been writing the same songs since 2009, so he doesnt get any points for that.

Actually Justin has been writing for years now. I don't use Justin and as for Chris, the last album of his that I was able to somewhat tolerate was Fortune. And please stop shading Adele. She doesn't think that she's better than anyone, she's basically speaking as if she was in a certain predicament how things are in her view. I will say this about Chris though, if that incident never happened he would've crossed over and I think his music would've been better than the stuff that he's putting out now.

My personal faves on the album aren't even so much the urban sounding songs. The ballads/mid-tempos are extremely good. Love Yourself, Purpose, I'll Show U, Life Is Worth Living, The Most >>>>> Like he really shat.

X sounded like a bunch of songs (good songs) thrown together on an album. It had no flow, no concept, no real depth to it. He recorded a whole bunch of songs over 2-3 years and just put the best ones on it (particularly the songs with features). That's why I really love Graffiti cause it has a story and has more depth and meaning.
