No way. That's what made the NSN album such a big deal for her and her career at the time babe. She was  allegedly bored with all of the  previous material she was receiving, before meeting Lashawn and Rodney changed everything

Yes I know the music was amazing
Im speaking Specifically to the Recording Quality of the bulk of his work with her

In alot of ways the Debut Slays nsn Production wise and was very pristine and polished its like you wouldnt belive listening now that it was dropped in the time it was in ...
Alot of NSN sounds DEMOISH in that regard
And even FULL moon there are so many vocals that sound like they just went into a room an did it
and through most of Her acapellas with ROdney there is loud ass fan going (most likely the vent fan from the booth)

and then with human its the same thing

Debut
Afrodisiac
211

Sound different when it comes to the quality of the actual recording

SO i conclude its a rodney thing now :plzstop:

I know the work is legendary Im just being picky but Its there still

lol dont make esxcuses thats the studio mess
but its the same with full moon
its the same with
rhd

its like he likes vocals to be muddy and over compressed for his final mixes

alot of the times the music hides some of it though

outside of rodney

her shit is CLEAR airy and clean transparent signals omg

sxddfgggggghhhhhbhhh

!!!!! I think that's why I struggled to get into Afrodisiac. Besides the Ye produced tracks, it sounded so cheap to me. Ffcvvvvvv

I mean the reverse For STudio Vocal recordings

But I agree about the music

The bulk of her good stuff is with Darkchild albums

The acapellas of What About Us and He Wasn't Man Enough are both vinyl rips. I can even hear the needle on HWME. Not a fair comparison.

(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQRYRwkfmgE)i wonder if they simply used a different studio than rodneys normal studio

Some songs on Afro were very cheap sounding which is why I'm
always surprised that people choose it over Full Moon, which sounds current even today.

Rodney has a certain style of mixing and recording that is a bit cheap

Afrodisiacs vocal recordings are all high quality dunno who said that

If u dont like timbs production thats one thing the vocals were recorded mixed and mastered well

Which acapella are you getting and when do you anticipate you'll post it?

Last year, one of Brandy's fansites posted an acapella clip of "Wish Your Love Away" and she sounded amazing. I wish someone would post the full.

Boy shut the fuck up. It's a vinyl rip and anyone with working ears would know that. I have the actual acapella for both WAU and He Wasn't Man Enough and they don't have that on it. Focus on something more meaningful.
