Are there camera lenses that make people thinner? I mean I know wide angles will make someone bigger..

The only way i can imagine a tele-zoom lens could make someone appear thinner would be if it introduced pincushion distortion which was a common problem often experienced with (but not restricted to cheaper) consumer telephoto zoom lenses, which is the opposite of barrel distortion (which could make people appear fatter), a problem which was often experienced with (but not restricted to cheaper) consumer wide angle lenses.
