how do you guys feel about paying $$ to get an outlet/publication to post your music?
the reason I ask is because I think it's absolutely wrong to do that but I recently saw the rates that some of these other blogs are charging...and it's like wow.
The real question is does it help.
It's like when they play these random unknowns during episodes of LAHH. Not once did I get the urge to check any of their messes.

Good point. Its definitely a no for me too lol
It can make sense but as a blog/outlet you have to then say it was purchased, as a code of ethics for journalism.

Yes you can label it "Partnership" or "Ad" or "Paid Promotion". People do it on instagram too. I would not do it, because it tarnishes the brand. But some people need the money.
