So, Ive never been a skincare girl
I drink a lot of water blah blah blah, but Ive literally just washed my face and applied a watery lotion and SCOOTED owt.
I get like, 1-2 pimples a year :dead: and theyre gone in like 2 days.
But recently, I dunno if its been working+not sleeping well+drugs
and I broke the fuck OWT :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop:
Its gone now, it was like that for 2 days and I was freaking out
But I need you girls now, I'm not trying to end up like those girls who are 35 but look 48 like that fag Mayday posted
Where do I start? :melmel: I say this, because I dont wanna move into 30 chemicals tomorrow after not using them ever
and IDC about natural/chemically based....Ive been eating fast food all my fcking life and my skin has never been a fool.
Helps! :stressed:
Be careful with any suggestion from anyone thats not a cosmetologist dfdfdffdfdfdgffg
Well I already know 3 people I trust
Because I saw their pics, AND I dont get 'retard' vibes from them
fssafdfsfsad
either way, the human body is something we still dont understand, I'm gonna take anything new slow. I havent applied shit to my skin ever but like the occasional mask, which has been like 5 times since birth
I WILL say... Retin-a (they have a cream and gel version) is something you should look into. But its one of those things you have to stick with.
Its a miracle worker. I've been using it since I was a senior in High School cause this bitch I knew used to use it.
Hun if it's not broke don't fix it.
You don't wanna start SLATHERING a bunch of shit on your face and create problems you didn't have before.
You sound like me tho..I rarely get a pimple or break out.
I would say just get a simple drug store cleanser. Exfoliate and get a natural moisturizer and keep it pushing. Oh also use sunscreen. That keeps your face from aging.
I oil cleanse my face and it keeps me clear and dewey all the time.
ack
imma just go with those few things
i agree about the basics. my skin doesnt breakout. i really appreciate my body but i guess seeing a bunch of breakout spots where i shaved and my forehead had me feeling like i was becoming a CRUNCH face mess owt. eeek
i didnt understand, however i do think with age you gotta help your body more than eating like a cow and drinking a ton of water.
this works. thank you :D
Go find a dermatologist
Its worth investment

I just bought a shit ton of vitamins and this probiotic supplement that's supposed to give you a glow. And I'm seriously about to start drinking green smoothies.
The internal work >
I'd try and see if any local dermatologists are doing any telecalls/virtual appointments
Plus stress during this pandemic is a big factor, which is understandable.

Yeah chemical is much better than physical. But gotta be careful with those. That red exfoliating serum The Ordinary has scares me lol.

Which serum? And the glycolic toner?
The red exfoliating serum and the glycolic toner
I don't use on the same days of course
But yeah they go off
I just started using their hyaluronic acid but I think I'm gonna toss it
And I just ordered their facial cleanser
BLACK SEED OIL.
I need to stock up on it myself.
Make sure you have a proper toner, cleanser, serum, day and night moisturizer. Many ppl go for witch hazel which is not good for toning your face. Also make sure you're toning between each step.
You wanna always:
Cleanse
Tone
Exfoliate
Tone
Mask (doesn't need to be done every night)
Tone
Serum
tone
Moisturize & oil
Belief aquabomb is also a really good night mask that you can apply as your last step. It seals all the moisture in overnight and gives you that dewy glow.
Cleanser
Moisturer
Exfoliater daily, weekly whatever suits you
Sunscreen
Those are the steps, the problem is finding a product you like in all those categories
Long term? Exfoliater/Anti aging mess, like Baph said, Retin A is IT... a retinol if you can't get a prescription for Retin A, it tackles everything, spots, Marks, acne, wrinkles, its literally a one stop shop and it's the only chemical that's been studied for like the last 70 years to actually create collagen and a GOOD sunscreen you'll wear everyday and you'll be be looking 30 when your 50
If you're a dry gorl, look for products that will seal in that moisture overnight
If you're a oily gal' things like saycilic acid will literally do it ALL for you.

It could be stress but food is so important. It is not bad to check blood for vitamin levels. Most people lack nutrition..I used to have a serious vit d deficit for years and it made me depressed, my muscles were hurting all the time. So I take supplements now..
My advice is definitely to stop eating fastfood
I know it is addictive..but if you stay away for a while it will definitely change you. I haven't been to McDonald's/Burger King/kfc for two and a half year...it helped me realize that most of it is fat/salt/sugar addiction.
oh and try to stay away from pork
black soap and water
just go to a dermatologist for a consultation.
the 1 generic mess that works for person A.), might be the mess that makes you break all the way out.
the 1 thing that was said and I hope you already do is wear a good spf when you go out..whether you can see the sun shining or not.

Just make sure you do your research on Retin-A. My derm prescribed me Epiduo a few years ago and that shit fucked my face up at first. Water even stung. That damn derm didn't tell me start slow. "Yeah just put this on every night. Haha!" NIGGA NO! lol start off once a week and every week add another day.
!!!!!!!!
I can't do Retin A anymore, wayyy too strong for me
I'm a retinol gorl now
It's weaker and it takes longer to get the same results but it's worth it
not ignoring this guys
just wanna see what the skin girls say
:disgusted:
